  • The Seminary institutional goals are:

    · To provide a comprehensive interdisciplinary Christian and theological education based on the Baptist tradition from a biblical perspective.
    · To encourage excellence in learning, teaching, research, administration and development.
    · To graduate highly qualified students who are equipped to perform in pastoral ministry and in lay leadership.
    · To encourage the pursuit of Life-long learning.

     The objectives of Mississippi Baptist Seminary and Bible College relates specifically to the purpose and goal of educating and developing Christians for worldwide leadership and service. The objectives in meeting this goal are that the graduate will be:
    · Academically and intellectually competent in his chosen field of study
    · Knowledgeable and capable of rightly dividing the Word and the Truth of God through biblical and theological studies
    · Able to clearly articulate  the  distinctive of the Baptist faith in the context of the church, community and convention affiliation
    · Scripturally enhanced and spiritually equipped to serve God with his life locally, regionally nationally and globally
    · Able to live out the salvation message before a lost world in both life and practice through a life of example and testimony in character
