About Us

Equipping Christ-Centered Leaders for Global Impact and Service

The mission of the Mississippi Baptist Seminary (MBS) is to provide a Christian theological education to persons called to serve the Church in Christian ministry and various professional and social vocations. Guided by seven strategic goals for 2025–2030, the Seminary aims to equip graduates who are Christ-centered, ethically grounded, and committed to meaningful service.

"

Mississippi Baptist Seminary has transformed my understanding of ministry. The courses are deeply rooted in Scripture, and the instructors truly care about our growth. I came here seeking knowledge, but I found purpose, community, and a deeper calling.
